With the intention to establish a new Data Centre capable of accommodating up to 10 years growth, the Client has proposed a site from their existing building stock to be refurbished into a new Tier III rated facility.
With the existing building being refurbished to house three physically separated data halls (each 250 sqm), a further 250 sqm of communications and support space, and office space for 15 administration and support staff, the new facility is designed to be delivered in up to 3 stages. Two new stand-alone buildings are to be constructed to house the required electrical/mechanical plant and associated infrastructure. The building's total footprint is approximately 3,150 sqm.
The integrated facility will be in a secure complex of approximately 5,280 sqm with 3 buildings in total.
