Chartis is known as one of the world’s leading insurance organisations, specialising in commercial and general insurance.

The business has held a presence in Australia since 1957, with offices throughout the country. Metier3 was given the responsibility of creating a new Melbourne office for Chartis, in a new building at the Docklands. The challenge was to to take the organisation from a traditional mixed plan environment of enclosed offices/open plan, to an entirely open plan environment, with no physical barriers between employees.

The result achieved is a seamless workplace with links to common areas, such as meeting rooms, breakouts and internal meeting areas.
