The refurbishment of the KPMG tenancy in 161 Collins Street involved engaging with the heritage listed Banking Chamber and Collins Street entry. METIER3 was engaged by KPMG to create its formal reception, multi-function meeting rooms, lecture theatrette, and additional amenities block within this significant space.
All of these function, together with representing KPMG's corporate identity, were achieved without any visible attachment to the heritage elements through enlightened design and detailing. The complex and sophisticated works were delivered within 6 months and the original project budget.
